With development duties handed over to Iron Galaxy Studios, Gearbox Software's popular shoot-and-loot series heads to Vita for the first time in Borderlands 2. Similar to its console cousins, the Vita version finds players in the wilderness of the planet Pandora, scouring the various settlements and landscapes in search of a rumoured Vault, and battling to overthrow the planet's twisted ruler Handsome Jack. This version also includes all the add-ons and expansions released for Borderlands 2, which means gamers can select, upgrade, and enhance six different character classes. Here in this game players can accumulate cash and the multipurpose new element Eridium in addition to thousands of different guns, grenades, shields, and mods. And online co-op action remains a key element in the series, as gamers can once again join up to three friends for raucous shooting and looting. Borderlands 2 also offer cross-save functionality, so players can transfer their adventure from Vita to PS3 and back without missing a beat.
