Trading Terms & Conditions.
 
Due to hygiene reasons hosiery and lingerie items can only be returned if they are unopened, unworn, and in a perfect re-sellable condition. If your item is received faulty please contact us, and we will deal with your complaint quickly and efficiently. We cannot accept responsibility for tears, snags, ladders made by the customer during wear.
 
The business owner, including subsidiaries and affiliates, provides the information in this business, also referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’, to Visitors viewing or purchasing products from this business, also referred to as ‘you’ or ‘your’.
 
In this agreement:
 
"Carrier" means any business or person instructed by us to carry Goods from us to you, whether all or part of the distance.
 
"Our Business" means the entire ebay account essex'ee legs.
 
"Goods" mean any Goods that are offered for sale, by us, essex'ee legs.
 
"Content" means information in any form published on essex'ee legs ebay by us or, with our consent, by any third party.
 
In our contract with you these terms and conditions apply:
 
All prices are reflected in GBP (including Europe and the rest of the world). VAT is inclusive on all of the hosiery items that are for sale in the Essex'ee Legs ebay shop. Postage is payable on all orders unless special offers or discounts are in place at different times, those of which will be detailed on our ebay page.
Delivery times are subject to variation and approximate time is 2-5 working days UK only (orders received before 15.30 hrs Mon-Fri will normally be despatched same day, depending on stock availability and volume of orders that day). Essex'ee Legs has no control over the time Royal Mail takes to make deliveries, and Europe and Rest of World deliveries will be longer.
 
Sometimes goods advertised may be temporarily out of stock or not available anymore. We will endeavour wherever possible to obtain the item for you. If this is impossible we will offer you alternatives, and inform you by email, before we despatch your order.
 
In this situation you can accept the alternatives we offer, leave the order valid omitting the out of stock/unavailable item, or cancel your order.
 
When you have placed an order, acceptance will be confirmed by email shortly after receipt and that is when your order begins to be processed and our contract is made.
 
Essex'ee Legs is under no obligation to accept your order, but would normally do so where the product is available and your payment is approved.
 
Goods in the essex'ee legs shop are described as accurately as possible. Every care is taken with descriptions although errors may occur. Therefore, any such description shall not form part of this agreement.
 
On occasion slight variation to the product shown may occur, but we continually strive to improve our products and give as clear descriptions as possible.
 
If money is owed to you (for any reason), we will credit your paypal acc. as soon as is possible, but please be aware that this can take a maximum of 30 days from the date of order.
 
Our terms may be subject to change, but trading terms that are stated on the date of your order will apply to you.
 
All items are delivered in plain packaging.
 
Price and Payment:
 
All orders via essex'ee legs are completed via PayPal Business. Payment is taken upon receipt of order.
 
Full payment for the total order must be received by us before we will send any part of it.
 
Bank charges by the receiving bank on payments to us will be bourne by us. All other charges relating to payment made in a currency other than pounds sterling will be bourne by you.
 
Delivery:
 
Deliveries will be made by carrier to the address stipulated on the order. If goods are unable to be delivered to you will send you an email notification, and arrange a re-delivery, this may incur extra costs to you.
 
If an item within your order is out of stock, you will be notified and these items will be delivered as soon as they become available. This will result in your order being delivered in instalments and further delivery costs will not be charged to you and they will be bourne by us.
 
Taxes, Duties and Import Restrictions:
 
We have no knowledge of, and no responsibility for, the laws in your country of residence. All shipments to the US and Rest of World, and some European destinations may also apply, are likely to be subject to import duties and taxes. These charges are incurred once a shipment reaches its destination and these charges are your responsibility.
 
Goods Returned:
 
Essexy Legs is compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 Notice.
There is a “cooling off” period in which to make up your mind if you want the goods or not. This period is seven working days from the receipt of the goods in which you can cancel the contract. You do not have to have a reason to cancel – a simple change of mind is enough, but the items must be returned unopened due to hygiene reasons. You have the right of cancellation. Please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched we may be able to cancel the process, so please contact us by email via ebay, telephone or text us of +44 7852 126010, and you MUST include your name and ebay id or we cannot deal with your cancellation quickly, and this may result in dispatch going ahead unnecessarily.
 
If your order has already been dispatched or received you must let us know in writing/via ebay within 7 working days of delivery being received (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to notify us of your intention to return the goods, we will only accept returns if the item is UNOPENED, due to hygiene reasons.
 
Original and return postage WILL be refunded for faulty items, but NOT for 'change of mind'.
 
We must receive the returned goods within 7 days of your notification.
 
If any items are received faulty we are happy to refund or exchange your goods with a replacement or similar item. Please be aware that refunds can take up to 30 days to be processed.
 
Lost orders:
 
Please note: Orders not received/lost by Royal Mail must be notified to Essex'ee Legs as soon as possible.
 
Royal Mail stipulate a waiting time of 15 working days UK and 20 working days for EU rest of the world destinations, from the date of posting, before we can claim compensation from them. There is little we can do until this time stipulation has passed, but we will keep you updated throughout the claims process.
