Claude Montana is the master designer who defined the power-dressing movement of the 1980s and transformed Lanvin’s haute couture in the ’90s. This first public airing of Montana’s work proved a great success, causing a frenzy amongst women, desperate to get their hands on his designs.
It features an open rounded neckline and has a swing design with very wide bohemian style swing sleeves, as can be seen from the side angled photograph. It is thick and very heavy in weight and features unusual sleeves which have a silk inner which has a beautifully elasticated cuff set within the inside sleeves.
