This is a Silver Jupiter 5050 Quantum Series Marching F Mellophone. I bought it from the manufacture to use during last years high school marching season. It is in excellent, near perfect condition and it looks NEW.

Antique Jerome Thibouville-Lamy mellophone in near perfect condition for as old as it is. Has all it's original slides to play in F, Eb, D & C. Excellent nickel plating that shows very little wear.

Eb/F Mellophone, Excellent Ready to Play. Can be played in Eb or F by realigning slides. Excellent for it's age and ready to play condition. Serial number #568106. Very few and very minor dents only as you might expect from a horn this old.

Very good playing condition. Plays in Eb but by adjusting slides it can be played in F I am told. Serial #no. No dents. Good original nickel silver finish. Valves are free & easy. Tuning slides are all free.

Mellophone is an instrument shaped somewhat like a horn, in that it is formed in a circle. It has piston valves and is played with the right hand on the valves. These horns are generally considered better marching instruments than regular horns because their position is more stable on the mouth, they project better, and they weigh less.
